Sometimes Wool Just Ain't Enough

There.  I've said it.  As much as I love yarn and all things woolly, sometimes you have to broaden the craft horizon.

Things at Brick+Mortar Marketplace have been going quite well.  However, the summer months are approaching and heat doesn't generally lend itself well to warm winter wool, so I've had to revert back to an old craft with a modern twist.

I don't remember the last time I cross-stitched.  I believe the last thing I made was a still unfinished baby poem with a space for hand prints for Jack while I was still pregnant.  Jack will be 13 in three months.  So this is not something I've thought about for quite some time.  But it's a craft I can do well, do quickly, and do with a fair bit of comedy.

With Valentine's Day just around the corner, I thought perhaps I could whip up a few potential gifts for those romantic folks.

All the cross-stitch is available exclusively at B+M.  If you have a custom request, I'll do my best to accommodate.

In the meantime, I'm off to stitch some more slightly inappropriate, innuendo-ridden, somewhat profane phrases.  Stay tuned!
