It Must've Been Love

That's right.  I said it. It was the real thing.  A friend introduced us, and I was leery at first, but I'm so glad I gave it a shot.

Our romance was all consuming for the first week.  We spent all our free time together.  I learned all of your nuances and how you liked to be held, the way you felt in my hands.

I knew I was developing feelings, but I didn't know just how strong until you were wrapped around me. 

Suddenly, it was time to say goodbye.  Admittedly, I didn't want to let you go.  I knew you were destined for bigger and better things, to have a life with someone else.

I introduced you to your soulmate, and I couldn't be more pleased with your choice, really.  I wish you two all the best together.

I'll try to move on, I'll busy myself with other yarns to help pass the time.  Just know that you'll always be my favorite.
